Job Purpose
To oversee and align the company’s human resources and corporate operations across multiple countries. The position ensures consistency, compliance, and efficiency in HR policies, talent management, and administrative processes, supporting the group’s overall business growth and international expansion strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Management & Policy Implementation
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and SOPs across all regions.
- Manage the full HR lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance review, compensation, benefits, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements in each operating country.
- Maintain accurate employee data, contracts, and payroll documentation.
- Provide HR advisory and operational support to management and cross-country teams.
2. Regional Coordination & Compliance
- Standardize HR documentation and employment terms across countries for alignment and governance.
- Monitor and update changes in labor laws, taxation, and statutory contributions across regions.
- Prepare regular reports for management, including workforce analytics, compliance status, and cost tracking.
- Coordinate with local consultants, law firms, and government agencies when required.
3. Talent Development & Organizational Culture
- Support employee engagement, training programs, and performance development plans.
- Assist in designing and executing career development and succession planning strategies.
- Promote company culture and employee communication to strengthen organizational cohesion and retention.
4. Administrative & Corporate Operations Support
- Oversee general administrative tasks, office management, and documentation flow across branches.
- Support business units with HR-related planning and resource allocation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly HR and operations reports for management review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR or corporate operations, preferably within a regional or multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of multi-country employment laws, compliance, and HR frameworks.
- Excellent command of English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia; additional regional language proficiency is an advantage.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational discipline.
- Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver results within deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing HR across Southeast Asia or greater Asia-Pacific markets.
- Familiarity with compliance and corporate governance structures.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities.
- Experience in employee training, policy drafting, or internal audit functions.
