As the Restaurant Operation Manager, you will be the driving force behind our daily operations, leading the entire team with passion, discipline, and care. Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring all shifts run smoothly and efficiently.
- Monitor performance across all departments—service, kitchen, and support—to deliver consistent, high-quality standards.
- Conduct routine audits on cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety, aligned with Halal and regulatory guidelines.
- Implement and uphold SOPs across all operational areas, ensuring team-wide compliance and consistency.
2. People Leadership & Development
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of junior operation lead, captains, and service crew through clear goals and consistent coaching.
- Foster a high-performing team culture rooted in accountability, positivity, and continuous improvement.
- Handle and assist inrecruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
3. Guest Experience & Satisfaction
- Always put the guest first and make them feel welcome.
- Manage guest feedback and resolve escalated complaints with professionalism and care.
- Improve service by training, listening, and leading by example
4. Cost & Inventory Control
- Manage budgets, sales forecasting to ensure financial targets are met.
- Oversee inventory, waste control, purchasing, and supplier coordination.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or experience.
5. Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Set and execute short- and long-term operational goals in alignment with company objectives.
- Report regularly to upper management on performance, challenges, and solutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- In-depth understanding of restaurant operations, SOPs, and customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with Halal practices and food safety standards in Malaysia.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
