Position : Supply & NPI Planner

Industry : Oil & Gas (Shared Service)

Location: The Horizon, Bangsar South City, No. 8, Jalan Kerinchi, 59200 Kuala Lumpur

Working Hours : Monday - Friday (8 – 5 PM or 9 – 6 PM)

Employment Type: 12 Month Contract with PERSOL - possible extension upon business approval

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (60/40)

Salary range : RM7,000 - RM9,900 (based on experience & qualification)

About the Role

In this role, you will drive end-to-end planning for New Product Introductions (NPI) and Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM), ensuring successful product launches, smooth transitions, and optimized supply across the network.

What You’ll Be Doing

New Product Introduction (NPI)

• Lead end-to-end supply planning for product launches
• Translate demand forecasts into actionable supply and distribution plans
• Manage initial build, pipeline fill & inventory positioning
• Identify and mitigate risks (capacity, supplier readiness, logistics constraints)
• Track NPI performance metrics (service, inventory, SLOB exposure)

Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM)

• Manage phase-in/phase-out (PIPO) activities
• Control inventory during SKU ramp-up/down to minimize write-offs
• Align product transition plans with commercial & supply chain stakeholders

Supply & Execution Planning

• Develop short- and mid-term supply plans at item/market level
• Monitor execution post-launch and adjust based on performance
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement & logistics teams

S&OP & Cross-Functional Alignment

• Integrate NPI plans into S&OP / S&OE cycles
• Align launch timelines with demand planning, marketing & supply teams

Systems & Governance

• Ensure accurate SKU setup and master data in systems (JDE, SAP, Kinaxis)
• Maintain planning parameters (lead times, MOQ, sourcing rules)
• Support compliance and governance processes (e.g., SIRIM, import requirements)

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in supply planning / NPI / PLC roles
• Background in FMCG, lubricants, chemicals, or manufacturing
• Strong data analytics capabilities and advanced Excel skills
• Hands-on experience with ERP & planning tools (JDE, SAP, Kinaxis)
• Proven experience in SKU management & product transitions
• Strong stakeholder engagement & cross-functional collaboration skills
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Fluent in English
• Project management experience is a plus
