1. Role Purpose

The Senior Production Supervisor will lead our current production team to ensure all print orders are completed accurately and on time. You will act as the vital link between the office team and the production floor. We are looking for a leader who is technically strong in printing but also possesses the people skills to motivate a team and maintain high discipline.

2. Key Responsibilities

Production Leadership & Personnel:

• Direct Supervision: Lead, motivate, and manage the daily tasks of production team.
• Manpower Planning: Arrange team schedules and OT to meet urgent deadlines.
• Training: Onboard new staff and upskill existing workers on machine operation and safety.

Operations & Workflow:

• Job Scheduling: Translate office sales orders into a daily production plan to maximize machine output.
• Troubleshooting: Act as the first point of contact for technical issues or machine minor breakdowns.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the office for re-ordering.

Quality & Efficiency:

• Final QC: Perform rigorous quality checks on color, finishing, and packing before delivery.
• Wastage Control: Implement methods to reduce material waste and improve production speed.
• Maintenance: Oversee daily machine cleaning and coordinate with external technicians for scheduled servicing.

3. Requirements

• Experience: At least 4–6 years in the printing industry (Digital, Offset, or Large Format) with at least 2 years in a Senior or Supervisory role.
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of the printing process, from pre-press to finishing (cutting, folding, binding).
• Communication: Must be able to speak Bahasa Malaysia (to lead the team) and Mandarin/Cantonese (highly preferred for supplier and management coordination).
• Personality: High integrity, "firm but fair" leadership style, and able to work under pressure during "peak season."
• Proximity: Ideally staying within the Kepong, Selayang, Batu Caves, or Sungai Buloh area for a quick commute.

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
