Job Description

Responsibilities

A Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, achieving sales targets, and growing the company’s revenue.

Typical job scope for a Sales Manager:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets
  • Monitor team performance and prepare sales reports
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients
  • Maintain good relationships with existing customers
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitors
  • Train and coach sales staff on product knowledge and selling skills
  • Attend meetings with clients and negotiate contracts or pricing
  • Coordinate with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance
  • Handle customer complaints or issues professionally
  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets
  • Ensure the team follows company policies and sales procedures
  • Plan promotional activities and campaigns to increase sales
  • Travel to meet clients or visit branches when required
