Job Title: Protégé QA/QC Engineer / QAQC Trainee

Job Summary:

The Protégé QA/QC role is designed for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in quality assurance and quality control within engineering or construction projects. The trainee will assist the QA/QC team in ensuring materials, workmanship, and processes comply with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist QA/QC engineers in inspection and quality monitoring of construction works.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of QA/QC documentation, reports, and records.
• Participate in site inspections, material testing, and quality checks.
• Monitor compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Assist in non-conformance reporting (NCR) and follow-up on corrective actions.
• Support implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and procedures.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and laboratory technicians regarding quality matters.
• Attend quality meetings, site briefings, and training sessions.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (0–1 year experience).
• Basic knowledge of construction quality control procedures.
• Willing to work on construction sites.

Skills & Competencies:

• Good attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and testing methods.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions from senior engineers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Pay: RM1,999.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
