Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of Eastfound Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting, while also leading initiatives to optimize the company's financial performance and growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive financial expertise, and a deep understanding of corporate finance, compliance, and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
• Financial Management: Oversee all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost control.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure the company complies with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies while identifying and mitigating financial risks.
• Cash Flow & Capital Management: Manage cash flow, investments, and capital allocation to optimize financial health.
• Internal Controls & Audits: Establish and maintain internal controls to prevent financial fraud and enhance transparency.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with other executives to drive financial and operational strategies, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
• Financial Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial reports to the CEO and board of directors, offering insights for decision-making.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to maintain high performance and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and other financial institutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial role (CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian and international financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance.
• Expertise in financial forecasting, risk management, and corporate finance.
• Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or multinational business operations is an advantage.
• Mandarin speaking, able to read & write in Mandarin is a plus.
