About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on biomedical engineer to support the installation, servicing, and maintenance of medical equipment, including sleep diagnostic systems (PSG). This role involves travelling across Malaysia and night visits to support customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer sites to assess and advise on installation requirements.
- Install, set up, and test medical equipment (including PSG systems)
- Perform regular maintenance and safety checks
- Respond to service calls, troubleshoot issues, and carry out corrective maintenance.
- Support equipment setup for events and assist clinical teams when required.
- Prepare quotations for service and repair work
- Be on standby after working hours (based on a roster) for sleep-related support
- Travel within Klang Valley and outstation when required
- Handle any other tasks assigned by management
Requirements
- Degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in servicing hospital biomedical equipment.
- Experience with PSG or sleep diagnostic equipment is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety.
- Willing to travel and work outstation when needed.
