Job Scope & Responsibilities
A. Business Growth & Sales Development
- Develop and deliver annual business development and sales plans to achieve short-term and long-term revenue and margin targets.
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities including corporate accounts, events, collaborations, and partnerships.
- Actively generate new business through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Prepare proposals, conduct presentations, and lead negotiations to close business deals.
- Analyse sales performance, margin trends, and market opportunities to identify growth strategies.
- Forecast sales performance and develop strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
B. Key Account & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Manage onboarding and implementation of new customer accounts to ensure all requirements are met.
- Ensure high level of client satisfaction and long-term business retention.
- Leverage relationships with key partners and suppliers to drive sales growth and margin improvement (e.g. promotions, joint campaigns, collaborations).
C. Strategy, Coordination & Business Expansion
- Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Finance) to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives.
- Support outlet expansion, brand positioning, and revenue-generating initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of business development strategies with overall company direction.
D. Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Track, analyse, and report business performance, sales metrics, and pipeline updates to Management.
- Design and maintain an effective system for reporting new and existing business opportunities.
- Monitor programs, analyse data trends, and recommend improvements for business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- Excellent customer service and customer relationship building skills
- Market knowledge about MRO or industrial products
- Good knowledge in cutting tools, hand tools, etc.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and apply problem-solving skills
- People management experience with demonstrated cross-group leadership
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work under deadlines
- Understanding of financial concepts such as sales and margin
- Strong hunter mindset with ability to generate new business opportunities
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
