Job Summary

The Trailer Driver is responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations, company procedures, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive company trailer trucks to deliver goods to customers or warehouses.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time according to the assigned schedule.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (before and after trips) to ensure the trailer and truck are in good and safe condition.
• Ensure proper handling and transportation of foods and beverages ingredients to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination or damage.
• Verify delivery documents during loading and unloading.
• Ensure all goods loaded match the delivery order before departing.
• Maintain cleanliness of the trailer, especially when transporting foods related ingredients.
• Comply with all road transport regulations and company safety policies.
• Report any vehicle breakdown, accident, or delivery issue to the superior immediately.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods when required.

Job Requirements

• Must possess a valid driving license with clean driving record.
• Possess a valid Malaysian GDL Driving License and E license.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience driving trailer trucks.
• Familiar with Klang Valley Road route and willing to go for outstation trips.
• Experience in food, FMCG, or logistics industry is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian road regulations and routes.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading.
• Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, or outstation when required.

Additional Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., hygiene and proper handling).
• Ensure the vehicle follows company maintenance schedules.
• Protect company goods and assets during transportation.
