Role Overview:
The Retail Store Manager is responsible for leading the overall showroom operations, driving sales performance, managing the retail team, and ensuring excellent customer experience at Feruni’s Melaka showroom. This role plays a key part in achieving business targets while maintaining premium showroom standards and strong client relationships with homeowners, interior designers, architects, and contractors.
Job Description:
- Lead and manage daily retail showroom operations
- Drive sales growth and achieve monthly sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners
- Ensure excellent customer service and showroom presentation standards
- Monitor sales performance, reports, and store KPIs
- Manage inventory coordination and operational efficiency
- Recruit, coach, and develop retail team members
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and policies
- Handle CRM system updates, customer follow-ups, and sales funnel management
- Analyze sales trends and propose improvement strategies
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in any relevant field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in retail store management
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience in furniture, building materials, interior design, or home living industry is an advantage
- Good sales, customer service, and operational management skills
- Familiar with CRM systems and sales reporting
- Able to communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Mandarin speaking ability is an added advantage due to customer interaction requirements
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
