Job Description

Responsibilities

The IT Administrator is responsible for the reliable operation and security of the company’s entire technology stack. You will provide direct end-user support, manage local and cloud infrastructure, oversee specialized multimedia systems, and enforce strict security protocols for data access and personal devices.

Job Requirements:

  • Able to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
  • Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, organized, detailed and willing to learn.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving skill.

Working Hours:

  • Weekdays : 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • ​Saturday: 4 Hours
  • Sundays & Public Holidays: Off

Job Responsibilities:

  • Hardware & Desktop Support: Install, format, and configure laptops and PCs (Windows/macOS). Perform preventative maintenance and rapid troubleshooting of software/hardware issues. Manage printer setups, printer servers, and basic peripheral maintenance. Manage and troubleshoot digital display boards and signage throughout the office.
  • Endpoint Management: Implement Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to ensure personal and work devices meet security compliance (e.g., encryption, remote wipe).
  • Identity, Security & File Access: Manage the full digital lifecycle of staff, from automated onboarding (provisioning accounts and devices) to secure offboarding (revoking access and retrieving assets).Optimize and manage Google Workspace to streamline digital collaboration, secure file access, and develop structured workflows for teaching and operational efficiency. Administer file permissions and folder-level access on NAS systems and cloud storage platforms (Google Drive/Shared Drives). Conduct regular access audits to ensure the principle of least privilege is maintained.
  • Network & Storage Management: Troubleshoot WiFi connectivity, LAN/WAN issues, and network security. Administer and maintain NAS (Network Attached Storage) for file sharing and backups.
  • Cloud & Multimedia Administration: Primary administrator for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Set up and supporting infrastructure for online classes, live streaming and company webinars.
  • Website & Digital Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain the center's digital infrastructure - including website, hosting, and DNS - to ensure security and reliability. Manage vendor relations and administrative documentation while ensuring all accounts, backups, and renewals remain under internal company control.
  • Systems Development & Digital Innovation: Support the long-term development of the centre’s internal Student and Learning Management System including the integration of AI tools and APIs. Coordinate with external developers or contributing directly to system design, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement of in-house digital solutions.
