Job Purpose

The incumbent will work directly with the Head of Project Management Office and the IT management team by leading the project, provide project management leadership and direction for assigned projects. The incumbent also will leads and manage the project team to achieve goals and objectives that contribute to the company overall business strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Oversee entire company project timeline and provide mentor or coaching to Project Management team to ensure the projects achieve the project scopes and objectives

2. Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

3. Develop and communicate clear and actionable deliverables, or activities to be completed

4. Identify activity owner, as well as a clear timeline and success criteria in Project Management and Quality Assurance

5. Tracking deadlines, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the project process and quality testing results before deployment of enhancement and projects rollout to Production.

6. Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects

7. Holds owners accountable for their commitments and conduct project team meetings

8. Provide status updates to management and identify and resolve issues that may arise and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery in accordance with the stated project goals

9. Provide weekly/monthly IT department reports to Management through weekly/monthly meetings

10. Coordinating Weekly departmental meetings, updating progress status, deliverables of Projects and Quality Testing results

Qualifications

1. Master’s Degree or bachelor’s Degree in computer science/information technology, computer engineering or equivalent

2. Strong grasp of the English language

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills

5. Project management related certification such as Agile, PMP, Prince II or equivalent

Job Description:

Project Manager Special Requirements

1. Minimum 10 years of working experience with at least 5 years of project management experience within the IT and financial services industry, investment banking knowledge is a plus

2. Experience in a full cycle of software development lifecycle and software testing lifecycle

3. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
