• A Tooling Design Engineer in stamping is responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining the dies and tools required to cut, bend, and form metal sheets into specific shapes. This role bridges design and production, ensuring high precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes
• -Tool Design & Engineering: Develop, design, and detail complex stamping dies (progressive, transfer, or tandem) using 3D CAD software.
• -Feasibility Analysis: Analyze customer product drawings for manufacturability (DFM), including forming simulation to predict potential failures like tearing or wrinkling.
• -Tooling Optimization: Improve existing tool designs to enhance production efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve part quality.
• -Engineering Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and technical specifications.
• -Technical Support: Collaborate with the tool room (toolmakers) during assembly, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth production startups.
• -Continuous Improvement: Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for tooling issues and implement Kaizen activities to improve process stability.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
