KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Shift-based schedule on weekdays and Saturday (morning) – arranged by the Operations Manager
- To conduct and/or supervise the vision screening activities of daily patients
- Assess who require further attention after preliminary screening
- Provide professional advice and referral recommendations where necessary
- Ensure proper documentation of screening results
- To provide a basic eye assessment report after screening procedures are completed
- Support the team in maintaining a professional screening environment
- Work closely with the medical screening team
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Registered Optometrist in Malaysia
- Valid Annual Practical certificate (APC)
- Relevant clinical experience in eye screening
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and confidentiality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
