Position Overview:

We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer with hands-on experience in executing and coordinating civil, marine, and dredging works. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, supervising, and ensuring smooth project execution on-site, while meeting quality, safety, and timeline standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations for civil and marine construction works.
• Monitor project progress, site activities, and ensure works are carried out according to design, specifications, and schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Prepare method statements, work programs, and progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Liaise with procurement team for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Support permit applications, documentation, and project handover processes.
• Attend site meetings and provide engineering solutions when required.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with 1–6 years of experience in civil/marine/dredging construction projects will have an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of structural works, marine infrastructure (e.g., jetty, quay wall, breakwater), or dredging operations.
• Familiar with construction drawings, method statements, and project scheduling tools.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Willing to work on-site, including on-board vessels or ships when required.
• Able to work on rotation shifts and adapt to marine working environments.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant engineering software is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,999.00 per month
