Full Time Biomedical Engineer Jobs, salary up to MYR 6,500 in EPS Ventures Sdn Bhd Kuala Lumpur - Ricebowl

• Oversee project implementation, supervision and monitoring of all projects related technical works such as preparation & coordination of pre-installation M&E engineering services requirements, for installation of medical equipment with Project Consultants (Architect, Medical Planner, Mechanical, Electrical & Structural Engineers), site engineers & Contractors.
• Shall be responsible to lead and manage all related site interface coordination and contract management activities that includes but not limited to delivery & inspection, installation, testing and commissioning of medical equipment.
• Manage, supervise, and monitor delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of all selected medical equipment.
• Provide technical support in matters related to equipment planning and biomedical engineering support during design development phase and project implementation.
• Independently collect technical data from all relevant sources that are related to all aspects of the design process.
• Attend and participate in technical coordination meetings
• Able to discuss advantages and disadvantages of specific types of medical equipment and support the selection of equipment relevant to the individual healthcare environments.
• Familiar with the preparation of generic technical specifications (functional and performance specifications) for medical equipment, whilst ensuring that the specifications represent acceptable / applicable national / international standards, guidelines, rules and regulations and compatibility with construction drawings and site conditions.
• Familiar with Local and International Standards, Guidelines, and Authority Requirements pertaining to medical equipment installation, testing & commissioning.
• Work with Client on the equipment procurement process leading to tender evaluation and award.
• Develop & establish relationship with equipment vendors, maintain inventory of vendors and market prices of key medical equipment, including development of a comprehensive technical database for medical equipment for the Medical Technology Team and Company.
• Liaison with equipment vendors on request and submission of catalogues, shop drawings & technical data.
• Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional growth and development to keep abreast with the latest trend in medical technology.
• Continuous updating and familiarization with the current and latest development in medical equipment/healthcare technology, equipment standards, hospital practices & safety, engineering tools, maintenance, testing and commissioning of equipment.
• Provide support and assistance to the Sr. Principal & Consultants – MT in all equipment planning and technical / biomedical related matters as required.
• Exercise care and adopt prudent practices to manage, safeguard and protect the businesses and assets of the Company.
• Employ experience and business expertise to promote the growth and expansion of the business, provide input in the analysis of project opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree Holder in Biomedical Engineering or Medical Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 Years of experience in the relevant environment/field.
• Experience in hospital construction management is an advantage.
• Understand all aspects of the job with basic site preparation knowledge in architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical services.
• Well verse in medical equipment functionality and utilization & medical equipment engineering services.
• Good knowledge in hospital setup with basic clinical workflow related knowledge and basic procurement background

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
