Job Scope

• Responsible in effective maintenance and reliability of production equipment, utilities, and factory facilities.

• Lead and coordinate with maintenance personnel for preventive maintenance and breakdown resolution.

• Manages maintenance personnel by setting direction and priorities, provides training and continuous development.

• Support daily production operations and ensure smooth line performance.

• Maintains manufacturing assets and facility, parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, invoice approvals and manages the department budget.

• Support and drive productivity improvement, waste & machine downtime reduction, 5S and Lean activities.

• Evaluate and improve equipment performance, process reliability, and operational consistency. Recommend and implement engineering improvements (fixtures, automation, tooling, etc.).

• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with QA, Production and Purchasing.

• Implement cost-saving projects related to materials, energy, efficiency and manpower.

• Ensure GMP compliance and proper documentation, prepare, update and maintain SOPs, forms and maintenance documents.

• Responsible to handle local authority licensing and inspection such as JKKP, BOMBA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga and others.

• Responsible in audits, inspections, and equipment validation activities. • Participate in investigations (deviation, NCR, CAPA).

• Responsible in equipment qualification (SAT, FAT, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) and re-qualification activity.

• Responsible to handle any factory improvement projects whenever assigned.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

• Any other duties whenever assigned.

Requirement

• Minimum of Degree of Engineering or Diploma (Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or related).

• Knowledge of GMP, mixing/filling/packing operations, and quality systems.

• Excellent technical knowledge of equipment, products and processes.

• Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.

• Supervisory responsibilities include monitoring maintenance personnel performance for a regular group or work unit.

Pay: Up to RM6,000.00 per month
