Development Executive (Project Architect)

JLG Development Sdn Bhd (Johor Bahru) - (A subsidiary of JLG Investment Sdn Bhd and the Johor Corporation Group)

Our company is looking for an organized, independent, and self-motivated Development Executive (Project Architect) that will ensure the company's plan is adhered to and carried out. The role also requires the candidate to bring in best practices in continuous improvement plans and activity into the organization.

The Development Executive is responsible for identifying business opportunities, supporting project development activities, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new business and project development opportunities.
  • Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and competitor analysis.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, business plans, and presentations.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities for project approvals.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Support budgeting, cost tracking, and financial analysis of development projects.
  • Maintain proper documentation and reporting for management review.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Proven experience in pre-development within a property development company.
  • Strong knowledge of feasibilities study, construction standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with consultants and authorities on development projects.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools (e.g., MS Office, Project Management).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
