Job Description

Responsibilities

Accounts Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

AR

  • Issue invoices, receipts, and credit notes accurately and on time
  • Liaise with the sales team on billing matters
  • Assist in preparing and entering receipts into the system
  • Assist in checking bank statements and collections
  • Prepare AR aging report and highlight overdue accounts
  • Assist in month-end closing and reporting

AP

  • Process supplier invoices and ensure proper documentation
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery orders
  • Prepare payment schedules and ensure timely payments
  • Handle supplier statements and banker acceptance
  • Assist with checking stock-in and credit notes in the system
  • Maintain accurate AP records and filing
  • Assist in month-end closing and reporting

Requirements:

  • Diploma / LCCI / Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience (fresh grads are welcome)
  • Good in Excel and basic accounting systems
  • Strong follow-up and communication skills
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
