NS BlueScope Hiring! Full Time Mechanical Engineer in Selangor - Ricebowl

You will maintain buildings and systems through inspection, repair, and upkeep to ensure safety, functionality, and smooth facility operations.

What You'll Do

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.

• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels).

• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs.

• Maintain heating and plumbing systems.

• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs.

• Perform manual repairs (fix locks, replace windows).

• Undertake activities of pest control.

• Conduct general upkeep procedures (landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry).
  

What You Need to Succeed

• Diploma/Degree in any related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in maintenance.

• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and general maintenance processes.

• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.

• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
