The Supervisor role will support the Store Manager in achieving store sales targets and maintaining high operational standards. The role includes leading sales activities on the floor, mentoring junior staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting daily store operations at Usebowl.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Sales

Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a high-quality thrift shopping experience

Assist customers in finding pre-loved items and provide styling or sizing advice

Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally

Actively contribute to achieving store sales targets

Sales Leadership

Support the Store Manager in driving floor sales performance

Lead by example to motivate and guide the sales team

Assist in monitoring daily sales performance and operational KPIs

Staff Support & Training

Support onboarding and training of new Sales Associates

Share product knowledge and thrift sorting/pricing techniques with team members

Assist in supervising store staff during shifts

Merchandising & Store Presentation

Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and item display

Oversee product display planning and store layout improvements

Ensure store cleanliness and organisation at all times

Inventory & Store Operations

Manage stock receiving, sorting, tagging, and pricing of second-hand items

Monitor stock levels and report issues to the Store Manager

Oversee store opening and closing procedures

Team Collaboration

Maintain positive communication and a supportive team culture

Cover Store Manager responsibilities when required

Requirement:

Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience (Fashion / Thrift / Reuse industry preferred)

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Leadership potential and ability to coach and support team members

Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English

Passion for fashion, thrift culture, and sustainability

Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays

Proficient in basic POS systems and inventory management

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
