Job Description

Responsibilities

A. JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements, and supporting audits and reporting. This role also oversees compensation and benefits functions, including salary benchmarking, benefits administration, and employee rewards programs.

B. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and process monthly payroll for employees across multiple divisions.
  • Review monthly payroll for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other statutory requirements and timely submissions to relevant authorities.
  • Maintain accurate payroll and compensation records.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate reports for finance, management and audit purpose.
  • Liaise with government bodies, auditors, and tax agents.
  • Administer compensation programs including salary structures and adjustments.
  • Manage employee benefits such as insurance, leave, medical claims, and allowances.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and support annual salary review exercises.
  • Collaborate with HRBP on performance-based rewards and incentive schemes.
  • Resolve payroll and benefit-related queries.
  • Support payroll-related projects such as system upgrades, automation, or policy reviews.

C. AUTHORITIES

1. Operational Authority

  • Input and verify payroll and benefits data.
  • Assist in processing statutory submissions.
  • Maintain payroll documentation.
  • Escalate issues for approval.

2. Support Authority

  • Respond to employee queries.
  • Assist in audits and internal reviews.
  • Help with compensation and benefits tasks.

**Open to placement at Bukit Jelutong, Selangor or Bayan Lepas, Penang.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Finance & Accounting, or equivalent, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and statutory contributions.
  • Proficient in payroll software (e.g., BIPO, SAP).
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
