Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automation Mechanical Engineer to drive the design and development of complex, non-standard automation equipment. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in precision machinery, multi-module systems, and on-site problem-solving within fast-paced engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate and integrate customer and technical requirements into effective automation solutions
- Evaluate feasibility and lead execution planning for complex automation projects
- Design and develop 2D/3D mechanical drawings for advanced automation equipment
- Perform engineering calculations to support design accuracy and performance
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Lead validation and verification of critical modules during prototype phases
- Diagnose and resolve complex on-site mechanical and system issues
- Optimize equipment performance and compile validation and improvement reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in non-standard automation equipment design and development
- Hands-on experience with systems such as inspection, dispensing, lamination, screw driving, and testing equipment
- Proven ability to plan mid-level complexity projects and accurately estimate cycle times
- Experience contributing to large-scale, multi-module automation systems (10+ modules preferred)
Technical Skills
- Strong foundation in automation mechanical design principles
- Solid understanding of machining tolerances and mechanical drawing standards
- Knowledge of material properties and appropriate industrial applications
- Familiarity with surface treatment processes and applications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro/E, or equivalent CAD tools
- Ability to communicate effectively in English

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
