Job Scope:

Costing

• Responsible for cost accounting functions and inventory accounting.
• Work orders checking to ensure work hours and production output are reported correctly.
• Verification of process routing on regular basis.
• Monitoring production efficiency, eg labor hours, machine hours and idle time.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, prepare periodic variances reports to support cost analysis and management reporting.
• Identify cost saving opportunities.
• Perform OA checking and coding for Purchase Requisitions.
• Responsible for scrap sales.
• Perform inventory cycle count, resolve discrepancies and reconcile inventory.
• Perform month end closing for costing in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare budget variances report.
• Liaise with auditor, tax agent and government bodies.
• Perform other accounting and finance related duties or task as assigned from time to time.

Account

• Daily routine on processing payments.
• AP matching and posting for PO and non-PO invoice.
• AP coding and SST Tax coding.
• Monitoring for AP outstanding payments.
• Generate and posting sales invoice.
• Issuing of Official Receipts when payment received.
• Knock off incoming fund.
• Prepare Statement of account for customer.
• Update cash book on daily basis.
• Perform monthly AP and AR closing on timely basis.
• Preparation of Bank Reconciliation.
• Handling account filing system.
• Journal entry and update cheque issued.
• Assist in maintenance of fixed assets register.
• Assist in budget and cash flow forecasting.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agent and government bodies.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time by the superior

Requirements:

• Diploma in Finance & Accounting or related field
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience for this position
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Familiar with financial regulations
• Familiar with the financial management process of the manufacturing
• Familiar with office software and SAP systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
