Key Responsibilities
- Liaise closely with clients on technical, service, and project-related matters for rotating equipment.
- Perform servicing, inspection, overhaul, assembly, installation, and commissioning of rotating equipment at workshop and site locations.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and performance issues on rotating equipment in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
- Provide technical input during scope clarification and scope challenge workshops for rotating equipment service and project works.
- Carry out and/or support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for rotating equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare detailed service, inspection, overhaul, and technical reports in accordance with industry standards.
- Prepare technical proposals, cost estimations, and quotations for rotating equipment servicing and projects.
- Ensure all works comply with applicable API, ISO, OEM, and company procedures.
- Support workshop operations, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management in line with engineering and business requirements.
Main Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduation working experience with strong hands-on exposure in rotating equipment.
- Proven experience in one or more of the following: (Pumps (centrifugal, reciprocating), Compressors, Turbines, Gearboxes, Blowers and fans
- Strong practical experience in workshop overhaul and site support activities.
- Competent in using computers and standard engineering software.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
