Early Childhood Special Education Teachers work with children who have developmental difficulties such as speech and vision problems, limited motor skills, sensory-processing difficulties or special learning challenges.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluating a student’s learning challenges and revising the individual education plan to match the child’s functional capacity.
- Providing a structured learning environment incorporating fun activities to children with sensory-processing challenges, cognitive functions movement and coordination problems to develop them for readiness to school.
- Teaching children with similar learning difficulties in a group so they can progress together and learn from each other.
- Carry out these responsibilities with standard techniques such modelling, instruction, imitation, repetition and step-by-step problem solving.
- Collaborate with other teachers, therapists and parents to ensure educational goals are appropriate and that the student is progressing.
- Helping a child under needs assistance with motor skills and self-help skills including toilet training.
- Attend to children's basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, bathing or changing their diapers etc with the purpose of educating them to self-care abilities.Preparing teaching materials.
- Preparing reports to update parents on the child's progress weekly.
- Always ensure a safe and clean environment including sanitizing toys and equipment.Attend and participate with staff meetings, staff development, business development and peer sharing.

Pay: RM1,909.00 - RM3,499.00 per month
