Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations for civil and marine construction works.
- Monitor project progress, site activities, and ensure works are carried out according to design, specifications, and schedule.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Prepare method statements, work programs, and progress reports.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Liaise with procurement team for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Support permit applications, documentation, and project handover processes.
- Attend site meetings and provide engineering solutions when required.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 1–6 years of experience in civil/marine/dredging construction projects (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Strong knowledge of structural works, marine infrastructure (e.g., jetty, quay wall, breakwater), quarry or dredging operations is an advantage.
- Familiar with construction drawings, method statements, and project scheduling tools.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Willing to work on-site or travel to other project locations.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant engineering software is an advantage.
