Vacancy – Technician, Valve Service

Job Summary

We are looking for a Technician, Valve Service to support our workshop and site operations. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with basic mechanical knowledge who are keen to gain hands-on experience in valve servicing within the Oil & Gas / Engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in dismantling, cleaning, and assembly of industrial valves (gate, globe, ball, control valves)
• Support inspection and basic servicing activities
• Assist in pressure and functional testing
• Handle tools and equipment properly and safely
• Follow instructions from Senior Technician / Supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness of workshop and work area
• Assist in site work or shutdown activities when required

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• 0–2 years of working experience in mechanical / technical field is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment
• Familiar with basic hand tools
• Willing to learn valve servicing skills

Personal Attributes

• Responsible and disciplined
• Willing to learn and take instruction
• Physically fit and able to perform hands-on work
• Good teamwork attitude

Added Advantage

• Exposure to Oil & Gas or engineering environment
• Internship experience in workshop / maintenance
• Basic knowledge of safety practices

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: RM1,800 – RM2,500
