Job Title: R&D Intern (Skincare/Cosmetic)

You will assist the R&D team in formulating and developing new skincare products. This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in everything from mixing ingredients in the lab to testing the final product's stability and quality before it reaches the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Product Development: Support the team in formulating new skincare products.
• Sample Preparation: Prepare samples for sales or customer requests.
• Sensory Evaluation: Conduct tests on product texture, scent, and skin-feel.
• Documentation: Update product specifications according to cosmetic/food standards.
• Lab Testing: Perform pH tests, viscosity tests, and shelf-life (stability) studies.
• Production Support: Assist in trial runs at the factory to monitor mass production.
• Daily Support: Assist in general lab maintenance and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Education: Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety procedures.
• Attention to Detail: Able to measure ingredients accurately and record data precisely.
• Passion for Skincare: Interest in beauty trends, ingredients, and formulation.
• Work Ethic: Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work in a lab/factory environment.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3-6 months

Pay: RM600.00 per month
