Job Description

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and service-oriented Corporate IT Support to provide day-to-day technical support for internal corporate users and ensure smooth operation of end-user computing environments. This role will be responsible for onsite technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, employee onboarding, IT induction, and administration of workplace productivity and identity platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting capabilities, excellent communication skills, and experience supporting modern workplace technologies in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnd User & Onsite Technical Support

  • Provide onsite and remote IT support to corporate employees across desktop, laptop, mobile devices, peripherals, and collaboration tools.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and system-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform root cause analysis, debugging, and issue resolution for user-reported incidents and service requests.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to relevant infrastructure, security, or engineering teams when necessary.

Workplace Technology Support

  • Support and administer corporate productivity and collaboration platforms, including:
  • Zoom
  • Slack
  • Google Workspace
  • Okta
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) basic operational support
  • Support account provisioning, access requests, password resets, MFA setup, and access troubleshooting.

Employee Onboarding & IT Induction

  • Coordinate IT onboarding activities for new employees, including device preparation, account creation, software installation, and access configuration.
  • Conduct IT induction sessions to familiarize new joiners with corporate systems, security policies, and workplace tools.
  • Ensure all onboarding tasks are completed prior to employee start dates.

Device & Asset Management

  • Prepare, deploy, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and related accessories.
  • Track IT assets, software licenses, and hardware inventory.
  • Support device replacement, upgrades, repairs, and decommissioning.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate support documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify recurring technical issues and recommend improvements to enhance end-user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Support IT projects, office setup activities, system rollouts, and technology upgrades when required.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or Corporate IT Operations.
  • Experience providing onsite end-user support in a corporate environment is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across hardware, software, operating systems, and productivity tools.
  • Hands-on experience supporting:
  • Windows and macOS environments
  • Google Workspace
  • Okta or similar IAM platforms
  • Zoom, Slack, and workplace collaboration tools
  • Basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Basic cloud platform exposure (AWS preferred)

Pay: From RM5,000.00 per month
