JOB DESCRIPTION

1)Project Planning & Coordination

• Support the Project Manager in executing project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
• Coordinate design drawings, specifications, and shop drawings across different disciplines and stakeholders across different departments and teams.
• Track progress and report site updates, milestones, and risks to the delivery team.

2) Technical Execution

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP and critical infrastructure systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, CRAC/CRAH, CDU, liquid cooling, BMS, etc.).
• Support in verifying quality of works against design standards, manufacturers’ recommendations, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure requirements and compliance with design intent and performance criteria.

3) Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Enforce safety practices and ensure all site activities meet YTLDC’s EHS standards.
• Coordinate in assisting inspections, FAT/SAT, and documentation in line with commissioning and QA/QC protocols.
• Support audits for ISO, Tier certification, and other compliance requirements.

4) Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and resolution of technical issues.
• Support procurement activities

5) Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of project manager instruction, project drawings, RFI, NCR, material submissions, and test reports.
• Prepare weekly progress and risk reports, updating the project dashboard for management review.

6) Tenant Data Hall Fit-Out & Handover

• Coordinate white space readiness for tenant move-in, including rack space allocation, structured cabling, and power provisioning.
• Review and approve tenant fit-out layouts (rack plans, containment, power draw) to ensure alignment with base build constraints.
• Facilitate walkthroughs, inspections, and readiness sign-offs.

7) Cross-Connect & Structured Cabling

• Plan and implement structured cabling, fiber/copper cross-connects, and containment for inter-rack, inter-room, and inter-carrier connections.
• Ensure compliance with documentation, labelling standards, and cable management best practices.

8) Infrastructure Provisioning & Operations Network

• Oversee provisioning of operations network, Wi-Fi, IP telephony, and backend systems for staging rooms, offices, and critical operational zones.
• Coordinate with IT, facilities, and security teams to ensure operational visibility and fault response readiness.

9) Any ad-hoc task assigned by superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-5 years’ experience in data center, industrial, or mission-critical project delivery environment.
• Strong understanding of M&E systems, power and cooling infrastructure, and commissioning processes.
• Familiar with standards such as Uptime Tier, TIA-942, ASHRAE, and local building regulations.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and/or BIM tools preferred.
• Registered with BEM / IEM / MBOT / PMI (or working towards professional certification).
