Responsibilities

Position : IT Helpdesk (System Administrator)

Salary : RM 2,800 – RM 3,400 (Basic) + Allowances

Location : PJ Trade Centre, Damansara

Working Hours : 9am – 6pm (Monday – Friday)

Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Helpdesk (System Administrator) to provide first-level technical support and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, supporting users, and assisting with basic system administration to maintain a stable and efficient IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via ticketing system, phone, email, or on-site support
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues in a timely manner
  • Log, monitor, and manage IT support tickets while ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT teams when necessary
  • Perform user account setup, password resets, access rights management, and basic system administration tasks
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Support system updates, patches, backups, and routine maintenance activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and IT procedures
  • Assist in IT projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
  • Provide clear, professional, and user-friendly technical support to all staff

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1 year of IT support experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues
  • Exposure to Windows Server or Linux environment is an added advantage
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn and grow in IT administration

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,400.00 per month
