• Calibration and Testing: Responsible for calibrating and testing various types of equipment and instruments to ensure their accuracy and reliability. This involves following established procedures and using specialized tools and equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of calibration activities, including calibration procedures, results, and any adjustments made. Accurate documentation is crucial for compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: troubleshooting problems, performing repairs, or coordinating with other technical experts
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure that equipment remains in optimal condition. This includes cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as necessary.
• Compliance and Standards: Adhere to industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems. They ensure that calibration processes and procedures meet the required specifications and maintain compliance with relevant standards.

Job Requirements

• Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any science related field
• Strong understanding of measurement principles, calibration techniques, and equipment operation. They should be familiar with various types of instruments and their calibration requirements.
• Must have excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate calibration and documentation. They should be able to follow precise procedures and identify any discrepancies or errors.
• possess strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment or instruments.
• Ability to interpret calibration data and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Have good record-keeping skills to maintain detailed calibration logs, reports, and certificates.
