Full Time Linux Engineer (HFT- Trading system) - Hong Kong Onsite Jobs, in Hyphen Connect Limited - Ricebowl

We are hiring for one of our ecosystem projects in the financial services/ HFT space, we are looking for a Linux Trading System Engineer to build, improve, and maintain a complex Linux environment. This position is based in Hong Kong (Onsite).

Key Responsibilities

• Administer/upgrade servers via centralized platform
• Provide APAC operational support in follow-the-sun model
• Design/install Linux for stream/batch processing & ETL
• Provision environments with Dev/IT teams
• Automate deployments & innovate improvements
• R&D new solutions; adopt emerging tech
• Ensure global reliability/scalability

Requirements

• 3+ years Linux admin experience is required
• Enterprise Linux + networking (DNS/DHCP/routing/multicast)
• Experienced in Config mgmt (Ansible/Puppet/Foreman)
• Storage/load-balancing/hardware knowledge
• Git + Python/Bash scripting is a must.
