Roles & Responsibilities

1. Support development of business strategies

• Conduct quantitative research to support business plans
• Analyse business impact and propose distribution strategies
• Develop KPIs and monitor implementation progress

2. Enhance business portfolio

• Provide market feedback to grow channels and sales
• Assess performance, identify gaps, and improve processes
• Study market trends, competitors, and opportunities

3. Explore new business opportunities

• Use networks to identify new opportunities and proposals
• Review financial models, due diligence, and partners

4. Drive collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives

• Propose budgets and support recruitment efforts
• Improve governance and workplace technology usage
• Review and enhance business processes

5. Drive business-to-business marketing

• Develop marketing strategies for business clients

6. Drive business-to-customer marketing

• Implement marketing strategies for end consumers

7. Develop new business channels

• Identify market trends and opportunities
• Conduct data analysis and consumer insights
• Prepare reports and track business performance

8. Manage raw material source procurement

• Identify and evaluate suppliers in China for marine seafood raw materials
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
• Ensure quality control standards are met
• Maintain supplier relationships
• Monitor market conditions and pricing trends
• Implement sustainable sourcing practices

Requirement:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree and above.
• Prior working experience in the marine seafood-related industry. Added advantages for candidates with prior experience with global/local markets.
• Must have superior written, presentation and verbal communication skills, analytical and project management skills, and event planning experience.
• Business proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required as this role involves liaising with counterparts in China for source procurement activities.
