Role Overview
As our ASO Expert, you will own the organic visibility, search rankings, and conversion rates of our web novel application across the Apple App Store and Google Play Store globally. Your primary objective is to maximize organic installs by continuously optimizing our app metadata, monitoring store algorithm updates, and localizing store presence for target regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Keyword Optimization: Conduct continuous keyword research and mining to discover high-volume, low-competition search terms relevant to the web novel and serialized fiction industry.
- Store Listing Metadata: Craft and optimize app titles, subtitles, short/long descriptions, and keyword fields to perfectly align with platform algorithms and reader search intent.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Lead A/B testing frameworks (using Google Play Console and Product Page Optimization in App Store Connect) for app icons, screenshots, and preview videos to improve impression-to-install rates.
- Algorithm Tracking & Feeds: Monitor, analyze, and swiftly adapt to changes in Google Play and iOS App Store algorithms to prevent sudden drops in organic visibility.
- Localization Strategy: Collaborate with localization teams to customize creative assets and metadata for specific regional markets (e.g., North America, Southeast Asia, Latin America).
- Review & Rating Management: Implement strategies to encourage positive user reviews and high ratings within the app, while analyzing negative sentiment to advise product teams on fixes.
- Competitor Benchmarking: Closely track competitor app listings, category ranking movements, featured placements, and keyword share-of-voice.
RequirementsTechnical Skills
- Experience: 2–4+ years of dedicated ASO experience, ideally working with mobile gaming apps, content streaming platforms, or reading/comic apps.
- Platform Toolkits: Advanced proficiency in Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
- ASO Third-Party Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like MobileAction, AppTweak, Sensor Tower, or AppRadar.
- Data Literacy: Strong analytical skills with mobile attribution tools (AppsFlyer, Adjust) and Google Analytics/Firebase to trace organic web-to-app or store-to-app funnels.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per hour
