Indoor Sales Support (Freight Forwarding)

Location: 2-04-01, Lorong Batu Nilam 4A, Bandar Bukit Tinggi, 41200 Klang, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia.

Synergy Worldwide Forwarding Sdn Bhd is a well-established logistics and freight forwarding company providing international air, sea, and cross-border solutions. We work closely with carriers, overseas agents, and customers to deliver reliable end-to-end logistics services.

Job Overview:
We are looking for an Indoor Sales Support to assist our sales and commercial team in handling quotations, customer enquiries, and coordination with overseas agents. The role involves daily communication with local customers and overseas partners to support sales activities and provide timely pricing and shipment information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and follow up on sales quotations and freight rate offers (Air, Sea, Cross-Border, Trucking, etc.)
  • Daily dealing with local clients & overseas agents for sales enquiries, pricing, routing, and shipment updates
  • Liaise with carriers, co-loaders, and overseas agents for updated tariffs, schedules, and service availability
  • Respond to customer enquiries via email/phone in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain customer data, rate sheets, sales records, and internal tracking sheets
  • Support sales team with documentation and administrative tasks
  • Assist in identifying customer needs and supporting new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain good customer relationships to ensure repeat business

Requirements:

  • Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping industry preferred
  • Knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms) & basic import/export processes is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and email communication
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Fresh graduates in logistics or related fields are encouraged to apply
