We are looking for a motivated and patient‑centred Physiotherapist (Scoliosis & Spine Care) to join our growing team!
- This role focuses on the management of scoliosis and spinal conditions, combining physiotherapy rehabilitation with hands‑on involvement in customised bracing care.
- The physiotherapist will work closely with chiropractors and patients to deliver individualised rehabilitation programmes and will also be involved in basic brace fitting optimisation, including minor brace adjustments to improve comfort, fit, and compliance.

Job Desscription
Patient Assessment & Rehabilitation
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with scoliosis, spinal, and musculoskeletal conditions, including posture, movement, pain, and functional limitations.
- Develop, implement, and review appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient goals, and evidence‑based practice.
- Deliver individualised rehabilitation programmes focusing on posture correction, spinal stability, breathing control, functional movement, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
- Guide patients through supervised exercise sessions and prescribe home exercise programmes to support long‑term outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans according to clinical response and goals.
Scoliosis Bracing Support & Adjustment
- Educate patients on proper brace usage, wear schedule, skin care, and daily activity modification.
- Assess brace fit during follow‑up sessions and identify areas of discomfort or suboptimal fitting.
- Perform minor brace modifications, including trimming, carving, or cutting, to improve comfort and fitting where appropriate.
- Ensure brace adjustments are performed safely and within established clinical guidelines.
- Escalate complex brace issues or major structural concerns to the appropriate senior clinician or specialist.
Clinical Collaboration & Documentation
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and consistent patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and brace adjustments performed.
- Participate in case discussions, clinical reviews, and ongoing service improvement initiatives.
- Support smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience.

Requirements
Essential
- Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution.
- Valid practising licence/registration as required by local regulatory bodies.
- Interest in or experience with spine and scoliosis rehabilitation.
- Willingness to be involved in hands‑on brace fitting support and minor adjustments.
- Strong communication skills and a patient‑focused mindset.
Preferred
- Prior experience managing scoliosis patients (paediatric, adolescent, or adult).
- Exposure to scoliosis‑specific or spine‑focused rehabilitation approaches (e.g. Schroth‑based principles).
- Experience working in an outpatient or multidisciplinary clinic setting.
- Comfortable working with children, teenagers, and families.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
