QC Assistant – Job Description

Position: QC Assistant
Department: Quality Control
Reports To: QC Engineer / QA Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of incoming, in-process, and finished products.
• Check product dimensions and quality according to drawing and specification.
• Record inspection results and maintain QC documents.
• Support quality improvement activities in production.
• Assist in handling customer complaints and corrective actions.
• Ensure products meet company and customer requirements.
• Follow quality procedures, safety rules, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with production team regarding quality issues.
• Assist in preparing reports and quality records.

Requirements

• Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of measuring tools such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn.
• Experience in automotive/manufacturing industry is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
