Slim Chickens Malaysia is a growing international fast casual restaurant brand committed to operational excellence, consistent product quality, and scalable business growth. As we continue expanding, we are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Supply Chain Executive to support procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier coordination across multiple outlets.
Job ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Purchasing
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly purchasing activities
- Consolidate outlet purchase requests and verify against sales trends, stock balance, and demand forecast
- Coordinate Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) processes
- Ensure timely stock replenishment while avoiding over-ordering
Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitor stock levels across multiple outlets
- Review inventory reports and identify critical stock shortages
- Maintain inventory accuracy and support stock reconciliation
- Monitor food cost, wastage, and stock movement
- Ensure FIFO compliance and proper stock handling
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Manage supplier relationships, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules
- Conduct supplier performance reviews
- Source backup suppliers for critical operational items
- Support negotiation for cost efficiency and supply consistency
Logistics & Delivery Coordination
- Coordinate deliveries between suppliers, warehouse, and outlets
- Support inter-outlet stock transfer when required
- Minimise stock disruption, emergency purchases, and operational downtime
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on stock variance, wastage, supplier performance, and purchasing trends
- Support invoice matching and documentation processes
- Ensure compliance with food safety, storage, and supply chain documentation standards
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory, logistics, or related field
- Experience in F&B / Retail / Multi-Outlet operations is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of procurement, stock management, and supplier coordination
- Good analytical, organisational, and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong reporting accuracy
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Advantage
- Experience in restaurant chain / fast casual / FMCG operations
- Familiarity with food cost control and inventory systems
- Multi-outlet operational coordination exposure
