As a System Engineer, you will support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cybersecurity technologies within enterprise environments. Working under the guidance of senior engineers and team leads, your will gain hands-on experience with security solutions while contributing to projects that strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity defenses. This role is ideal for junior professionals looking to grow their expertise in IT security and develop a strong technical foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

· System Support and Maintenance – Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining security technologies, such as encryption, & data security suites (on-premises, cloud), hardware security module (HSM), mobile security, certificate lifecycle management (CLM), and identity management, and network security solutions.

· Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution – Monitor systems, identify security issues, and support resolution efforts under supervision.

· Incident Response and Risk Mitigation – Assist in investigating security incidents, executing response plans, and apply vulnerability patches.

· Documentation and Reporting – Maintain system records, assist in preparing reports, and develop user guides.

· Collaboration and Learning – Work closely with senior engineers to enhance security solutions and stay updated on the latest IT security advancements, threats, and trends to support continuous improvement.

· Research – Explore emerging technologies and best practices to improve security operations.

· System Optimization – Support automation and system improvements to enhance performance and security.

· Client Engagement – Assist in communicating with clients, addressing concerns, and providing technical updates.

· Team Contribution – Foster a collaborative work environment and align with the company’s vision, mission, and values.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in IT Security or related technical role (fresh graduates with relevant cybersecurity knowledge are encouraged to apply).
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Experience in a IT security, cybersecurity distribution, or a technology vendor is a plus.
• Familiarity with security solutions such as encryption, identity management, authentication systems, and network security.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practice is an advantage.
• Strong ability to present and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical mindset to troubleshoot and resolve security challenges.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and across departments.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP Associate or vendor-specific certifications are a plus but not required..

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
