Job description

As a Production Apprentice (Milling) at Prestasi Flour Mill (M) Sdn Bhd, you will embark on an exciting journey to learn the art and science of flour milling. This entry-level position is designed to provide comprehensive training in all aspects of milling operations. You will work under the guidance of experienced millers to develop the skills and knowledge required to produce high-quality flour products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and understand the milling process, including wheat cleaning + conditioning + grinding + sifting, and packaging of flour.
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of milling machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Monitor and adjust milling machinery parameters to achieve desired flour quality and production efficiency.
• Learn to conduct routine quality checks on flour samples to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with the milling team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and production issues.
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance your milling knowledge and skills.
• Maintain accurate records of milling activities, including production data and maintenance logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions closely.
• Willing to work shifts.
