REQUIREMENTS:POSITION SUMMARY:

• This role of PM is to coordinate overall Project activities according to IQ’s latest NPD flow which is from Feasibility stage till Shipment and assure on-time, on-cost, and on quality deliver.
• Lead/Manage the Project Management Software and a Project Management section in all New Product Development (NPD), including the related projects.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Using Business Generating Unit (BGU) team’s periodical number of new NPD project forecast, work with Project Managers and Technical development Team Managers to plan for adequate resources, and to support the new products development needs.
• Full liability in coordinating, supervising, involving and leading in all new/existing NPD projects through all NPD phases. Ensuring customers’ deliverables are met.
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Work closely with internal and external teams, e.g. engineering groups, Manufacturing, QA, R&D, Logistic, third party test lab, etc., to ensure project is on schedule, product cost, quality and performance in accordance to customers’ expectations and agreed specification.
• Responsible to update and communicate proactive on the Project status, issues, challenges and schedule accordingly with customers and internal team member. Also act as an interface between internal and external customers.
• Follow, sustain and improve NPD processes and implementation.
• Support internal and external customer in technical issues/queries.
• Lead & team of project in developing, planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and execute project management activities and task to ensure project full conformance.
• Measure project performance by using appropriate key measures like costing, investment, product performance, product reliability, etc.; Perform actively risk management to minimize project risks.
• Report and update management on periodical basis the overall project status. Project with possible impact to the product quality, schedule and cost to be reported with solution immediately.
• Take the lead on the Project Management Software and make sure Project Management Software is fully utilised, daily reporting about time/tasks/resources/Gantt-Chart etc. are updated in system and use a tracker list in the projects for a systematic tracking of issues and to dos.
• Take always into consideration Lesson Learned from former projects.
• Follow and provide continuous support to ISO 9001.

Qualifications, experience:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), or equivalent.
• Experience in NPI would be an advantage.
• Possess basic knowledge of product development life-cycle and have direct experience in a project/program management role.
• Full-Time position(s) available.
• Ability to travel.

Generic & Functional Skills / competencies:

• Project Management Skills with PMP certification (added advantage).
• Those with Project Management software skills, have an added advantage.
• Exposure in New Product Design Processes.
• Leadership.
• Strong oral & written communication skills in both English and Mandarin/Putonghua

INTERACTIONS:

• Need to interact with colleagues and customers from worldwide.
• Presentable skill when interact with customers during visits, con-call an onsite meeting.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
