Job Description (JD)

• Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMP) for project sites.
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with authorities, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare environmental reports and statutory submissions.
• Monitor environmental aspects including air quality, noise, vibration, wastewater, stormwater, waste management, and chemical storage.
• Conduct environmental inspections and audits on site.
• Ensure contractor compliance with environmental procedures and standards.
• Investigate environmental incidents, spills, and complaints, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate emergency response activities for pollution or environmental incidents.
• Promote sustainability initiatives and environmental awareness programs.
• Maintain environmental monitoring records and KPI tracking.
• Prepare weekly and monthly environmental reports.
• Support ESG and sustainability reporting activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or related field.
• Valid CESSWI, CESWI, or CePSWaM certification is required.
• 3–5 years of environmental management experience in construction projects.
• Experience in large infrastructure or data center projects is an advantage.
• Familiar with Malaysian environmental regulations and compliance systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to conduct inspections, audits, and investigations independently.
• Good reporting, documentation, and data analysis skills.
• Able to work in fast-paced construction environments and during weekends when required.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
