Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Linux/Unix & Database Support Engineer to support BAU (Business-As-Usual) operations and project-related activities. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environments, Oracle SQL, MySQL, and shell scripting, along with good communication and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily BAU support and operational activities.
• Manage and support Linux/Unix environments.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Shell Scripts.
• Write and optimize Oracle SQL and MySQL queries.
• Monitor systems and applications using Zabbix.
• Support deployment and version control activities using GitLab and JFrog.
• Investigate and resolve technical and database-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill assigned tasks within timelines.
• Ensure system stability, performance, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix administration and support.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and Shell Scripting.
• High competency in Oracle SQL and MySQL Query Language.
• Experience with:
• GitLab
• JFrog
• Zabbix monitoring tools
• Good understanding of database concepts and query optimization.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in production support or BAU environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Exposure to DevOps tools and monitoring practices is an added advantage.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
