The Job Description for Contract Java Developer are as below:

1. Candidates should possess at least 5 years of real-time experience in Java technology

2. Should have worked in Core Java, JSP, Struts, Spring core (not Spring MVC), Servlets, Hibernate, JavaScript, XML, XSL, J2EE design patterns, WebSphere, DB2 technologies

3. Should have strong knowledge in SQL

4. Having worked in Crystal Reports will have added advantage, but not compulsory

5. Should be able to work with minimum supervision

6. Insurance or finance business knowledge is an added advantage but not compulsory

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Design - Produce design specification based of functional specification obtained
• Development - - - - Develop software codes based on best practices
• Perform unit testing & and work with testing team for SIT testing before deploy system for UAT test
• Support and solve SIT and UAT issues
• Execute 2nd level production and incident support through close interaction with 1st level support
• IT Application Management and Support - - Ensure software development life cycle adhere
• Execute system delivery through reuse of quality codes - - - Ensure deployment adhere to change and release management
• Manage and ensure initiatives/projects are delivered in within time and scope
• Ensure 2nd level incident resolution within defined service level
• Perform other related tasks requested by immediate supervisor

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
