Roles and Responsibilities
1. Operations Data Management & Submission
- Ensure end-to-end monthly operations data submission across 16 Business Units (BU) within agreed timelines
- Follow up with BUs on KPI data collection and maintain status trackers for Group Workstream Leads
- Ensure 100% data accuracy with zero errors
- Support BUs in resolving data clarification requests
- Manage change requests on actuals and targets from BUs and Group Workstream Leads
2. Cross-Functional Data Collection
- Coordinate regular data collection for GOE, headcount, and in-force customers from non-operations teams (e.g., Group Finance, OSS, Group Data Analytics, Group Corporate Solutions)
- Ensure submissions are accurate and delivered within agreed timelines
3. Monthly Reporting & Deck Preparation
- Support the preparation and release of monthly BU performance decks (16 BUs) within agreed timelines:
- Consolidate data in Excel templates and populate PowerPoint presentations
- Follow up with Group Workstream Leads for KPI commentaries
- Coordinate with BUs and stakeholders to close feedback gaps
- Release finalized decks to CLO in a timely manner
4. Process Improvement & Automation
- Support the development and enhancement of reporting templates
- Drive automation initiatives to streamline reporting processes, reduce turnaround time (TAT), and minimize manual intervention
5. Dashboard Management (Power BI)
- Support monthly dashboard updates with 100% data accuracy:
- Coordinate with technology teams on batch job execution
- Refresh dashboards and manage review cycles with stakeholders
- Distribute dashboard releases to Group and Local ExCo stakeholders
- Manage user access rights for dashboards based on requests
- Drive dashboard enhancements to deliver more insightful and actionable reporting
6. Ad-Hoc Reporting & Data Requests
- Prepare and deliver ad-hoc data requests for non-operations stakeholders
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives across all data sources
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or MIS reporting (experience in insurance or healthcare is an advantage)
- Proven experience in performance tracking, reporting automation, and insight generation to support business decisions
- Strong technical skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI (or similar BI tools), and PowerPoint
- Experience handling data quality issues across multiple stakeholders and systems
- Ability to automate and simplify reporting processes, translating complex data into meaningful insights
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in English
- Structured, detail-oriented mindset with strong stakeholder management capabilities
Pay: From RM7,200.00 per month
