Nursery School Teacher Required Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with young children, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to plan and implement daily routines and activities.
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude to create a supportive and caring environment for children.
• Creativity and resourcefulness in developing engaging and interactive learning materials and activities.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies and techniques to meet the individual needs and interests of each child.
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices, including early literacy and numeracy, art, music, and physical education.
• Ability to handle and resolve conflicts or difficult situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Familiarity with technology and the ability to incorporate age-appropriate educational resources and tools into teaching practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team, sharing ideas, resources, and best practices with colleagues.
• Strong observation and assessment skills to track children's progress and identify areas for additional support or intervention.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Relevant teaching certification or license, depending on the country or state requirements.
• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery school or early childhood education setting.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of child safety and emergency procedures.
• Background check and clearance to work with children, as per local regulations.
• Proficiency in the local language or ability to effectively communicate with children and parents.
• Understanding of and commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity in the classroom.
• Familiarity with educational standards and frameworks, such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or Play-based learning approaches, is a plus.
• Continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
