About the Role
The Junior MarCom Executive will support the marketing team in executing day-to-day marketing activities—especially social content coordination, liaising with designers, photoshoot support, and maintaining our Shopify store. You’ll help ensure content goes out on time, assets are well-managed, and the website reflects current products and promotions accurately. Candidates with digital marketing exposure (social ads, content performance, basic reporting) are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the marketing team to coordinate tasks, follow up on deliverables, and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Support social media execution across platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Youtube as applicable), including scheduling and publishing content.
- Assist with content creation support such as drafting captions, adapting simple campaign copy, and preparing basic content briefs (with guidance/approval).
- Liaise with designers (internal/external) to create ads, banners, and social media visuals—prepare clear briefs, manage timelines, and coordinate revisions.
- Assist with photoshoots for products/materials: prepare products/props, support during shoots, and organize final photo/video files for team use.
- Learn and maintain the Shopify backend, including: product listings (images, descriptions, variants), collections, homepage banners, and campaign landing pages (within templates).
- Support basic Shopify merchandising: featuring best sellers, updating promotions, creating discount codes (as assigned), and ensuring promotional periods are implemented/removed on time.
- Perform basic website QA checks (mobile view, broken links, out-of-date promos, incorrect images/pricing) and flag issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean marketing asset library (folders, file naming, versions) to ensure the team can retrieve materials easily.
- Support basic digital marketing tracking by compiling simple updates on content/ad performance (reach, engagement, clicks) and website changes completed.

About You:
- Have 1 year experience in digital marketing industry is a plus
- Familiarity with Shopify (product uploads/updates, collections, theme sections) is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and following up to get tasks completed.
- Strong attention to detail and good organization (files, deadlines, checklists).
- Interested in social media and content trends; understands what good brand content looks like.
- Bonus: basic Canva/Adobe skills, basic video editing (CapCut), or confidence with simple reporting (Meta Business Suite/GA4).

Pay: RM1,779.87 - RM5,572.42 per month
